Job Summary


We are searching for a reliable and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our capable team of professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing existing budgets and implementing improvements, reviewing construction plans, preparing accurate quantity estimates, and negotiating with contractors and vendors. The role also involves building strong relationships with clients, site managers, and various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.



To excel in this position, the ideal candidate must possess a methodical approach to work and superb interpersonal skills. A successful Quantity Surveyor not only excels at analyzing costs but is also skilled at reading people and tailoring negotiation strategies for the best possible outcomes.



Duties And Responsibilities


 Review construction plans and prepare accurate quantity requirements.
Scrutinize maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts, to secure the best deals.
Liaise with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure effective project coordination.
Prepare detailed reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, and risk assessments.
Provide advice to managers and clients on cost improvements and new strategies.
Monitor material availability and place orders when necessary.
Document changes in design and update budgets accordingly.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Travel between office and various project sites as required.


Education Other Skills Required


 Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Building Economics or a related field.
Fresh graduates for year 2023-2024 are highly encouraged to apply.
Prior experience in construction estimating or finance is an advantage.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Package and Computer Management Skills
In-depth knowledge of construction processes and methodologies.
Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to organize, plan, and develop strategies effectively.
Great networking and relationship-building skills.
