Job description
What you’ll do
Role purpose:
• Manage policy and procedures for imposition of fees and charges on financial products and services in line with business strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Support the Product teams on pricing decisions and business cases to ensure the best outcomes for the customers and the business.
• Drive commercial insights on pricing and provide direction on how these can be acted upon across the commercial teams and the management
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Overall Pricing strategy
o Perform assessment and analysis of the pricing strategy for all financial products & services to drive revenue and customers.
o Conduct market intelligence to track competitor’s pricing strategy and performance in the market.
o Support strategic planning and any commercial initiatives.
• Internal and external reporting
o Defining business requirements on pricing, preparation and sharing of the reports/insights/Dashboards daily, weekly, monthly, and whenever required.
o Analyse the business impact of all new pricing propositions launched, so that a corrective action / learning can be taken for future.
o Developing new pricing models to support business decisions.
o Improve internal and external reporting processes on pricing.
o Understanding and complying to regulatory reporting requirements/Guidelines on imposition of Fees & Charges
• Stakeholder support
o Support the Senior management, Product/Commercial teams, Pricing, Compliance on pricing decisions.
o Drive implementation of new fees and charges in alignment with Product teams, Finance, Compliance
o Support internal and external Auditors on Pricing.
o Ensuring publishing of Customer & Business Fees & charges across the channels as stipulated by the regulatory guidelines.

• Excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills translated from market insights

• Ability to anticipate customer, competitor and market dynamics
• Able to challenge the status quo
Must have technical/professional qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Mathematics or Actuarial Science, Statistics or Information Technology or equivalent.
• Good knowledge on Data science, advanced Excel skills and knowledge in BI tools
• Programming languages like SQL, Oracle & Python
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in handling large dataset would be advantageous.
