Prepaid Acquisition Manager -Airtel
Airtel Tanzania PLC wishes to recruit for a Prepaid Acquisition Manager. The role reports to the Marketing Director in the Department. He/She will be responsible for formulating and ensuring the implementation of effective and efficient acquisition strategies for the Prepaid mobile business in the operation to enhance the leadership position in customer market share.
The Role Holder’s duties will include but not be limited to:
1. Segmented customer acquisition
- Identify new segments for acquisition and plan strategies to penetrate them while maintaining a leadership position.
- Design and provide tools for the sales team to expand into new markets.
- Conduct consumer and trade research periodically to identify new opportunities for acquisition.
- Conceptualize and roll out suitable products and plans in prepaid/postpaid to drive acquisitions and revenue.
- Design consumer and trade schemes to acquire revenue-paying customers.
- Analyze and identify channel partner ROI enhancement opportunities.
- Design and implement channel incentive programs to achieve the desired REC net adds target.
- Facilitate the sales team to achieve the REC net adds target through suitable sales incentive programs.
- Plan and monitor acquisition costs.
- Plan and optimize sales and distribution service expenses.
2. Incremental share of market gross adds
- Identify key strengths of competitors and plan tactics to gain incremental net adds from the competition.
- Plan and implement handset strategies to gain market share and counter competition.
3. Customer delight/satisfaction
- Design and implement simple and effective consumer schemes and promotions to increase delight among existing and prospective customers.
4. Reporting
- Direct reporting processes on acquisition strategies that show trends, ROI, and impacts to aid effective business decisions.
- Ensure quality processes and monitor acquisition-led management information systems and benchmarks.
- Provide summarized analysis to aid executive management in commercial and strategic decisions.
Academic Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, or a related discipline.
- Certifications or additional qualifications in advertising, business administration, communications, and management will be an added advantage.
- At least 10 years of working experience, with 5 years or more in a senior management role in FMCG or Telecoms Marketing.
